I thought this card request was going to beat me...Medieval Wedding Card...but I'm now breathing a huge sigh of relief! Found two great sites Font Space & Dafont with the most beautiful fonts. I've painted the letters with gold Glitter & added a peel-off border & heart. I'm quite chuffed with myself...panic over!!

Darn! I spent years (at least that's what it felt like) embossing this card with hearts and the photo doesn't show them too well! Trust me...they're there alright!! I haven't got a mechanical-type embossing gadget to do the hard work for me...on my list should I win the lottery!! Blisters-aside...I did enjoy making this card for a couple celebrating their 40th Anniversary. The heart is made up of Trillions (yes! I counted them!) of weeny red beads glued onto a heart peel-off that I used as the template. It's been glazed too to make it nice & shiny & stop the buggers falling off!!

Feeling Under the Weather?
I just love this Little Land Swimmers stamp from Sassy Cheryls - it's uses are endless, from "Feeling Under the Weather" to "Birthdays" and "Hello's!", so I'm leaving off the sentiment for now. I've decoupaged & coloured the image with Pear Leaf, Lime Green & Bright Orange ProMarkers, black glitter Sakura pens with silver glitter glue highlights. The raindrops are blue teardrop gems. This could be Spring or Summer in the UK - warm with Rain!!!

I'm a bit worried there may be competition in our house to take over my little card-making business!! These were the gorgeous Mother's Day cards I received from Sophie (left) & Oliver (right) today...brings a lump to my throat when they take the trouble to make me something. Oliver made his at school so the excess glitter is on their floor!! Alas, Soph' is a great card maker BUT a dreaful "Tidyierupperer!! I'll be finding "bits" for weeks! Love 'Em!!

Cards for Men
These are the other "life saving" cards I made using digital images of "George" from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
Mowing
Phew! Panic over..and saved by Charmed Cards and Crafts digital images. I had a sudden request for 5...YES 5 MENS cards (ahhhhhh!!) and 24 hours to make them. Several panic attacks later I came across these life-saving digi's from CC&C. My order was for 4 seperate children's cards to their Dad for his Birthday & a Grow'd-up one too. I used 4 different "George" images to create an idea of Dad in his different roles aroud the home, all decoupaged. (The other's will follow in a later post). Coloured with my beloved ProMarkers, papers from Basic Grey, grass clippings are green gems, computer generated sentiment.
