After the excitement of yesterdays Royal Wedding, it seems only right n' proper that the festivities should contine as we head off to buy a new soap-dish!! I know what you're thinking...'rein it in girlfriend!'...so I'm gonna keep my post brief.

This beautiful digi is Garden Bird House from Meljen's Designs at Whimsy Stamps, I've 3D'd some of it, coloured with Promarkers on an embossed framed background. The DP is more lusciousness from Doodlebug, with Marianne Design Open Flower Trendy die-cut flowers and punched flower centres, a scattering of gem flowers, oodles of silver glitter & a butterfly from the K&Co Smitten collection.

Now...GO have a luverlee day...I command thee!!

So...'who are these beautiful people on your card today?' I hear you yell, well...it's Ted & Agnes from Just Inklined . I've actually made it for my BIL & SIL as an anniversary card...may have to temporarily leave the country again. Coloured with Promarkers & 'oodles' of glitter, the DP is from Doodlebug & the wee wooden hearts are from my stash.

Now...go grab some confetti & chuck it at someone!!!

Yes! They are my thighs, hips n' boobs & that's where any similarity ends.

If I wore a dress that short you'd see the flames from the chafing when I walked & it wouldn't be a pretty sight if a wind whipped up revealing my bloomers!

Greetings Earthlings!

 A couple of wee cardlets for your perusal today. Note the 'Clean' & Simple style & severe lack of chocolity fingerprints on my cards....that's coz the so-called Easter Bunny seems to have hopped right on pass my door & dumped his wares in my kids rooms!!! Yes...they've got enough chocolate here to satisfy Mr Wonka & rebuild his empire but NONE with MY name on it!!!

It's my own stoopid fault, I should have booked the kids dentist appointments after Easter & scared the B'Jeepers out of them with tales of chocolate decay woe! Instead they went last week & got the all clear so they can indulge...DOH!

SO...2 cards using a sweet flower digi from Pollycraft, coloured with Promarkers & glitter with an embossed framed border...and NO chocolate mess!!!

Right...can't stop, kids have gone out...this is my chance!!

I Must Be Getting Old...

Tiz gorgeous out today...can't belive it's still April!

Yesterday we all went to Cambridge too mingle with intellectuals & beautiful people around the university. A great day was had by all with a punt ride along the river, a spot of sun-bathing on the Uni' lawns & generally rubbing shoulders with who knows, maybe a 'genious' of the future!

Our shop-a-holic daughter 'dragged' us around the many boutiques & introduced us to Hollister which is apparently a hip n' happenin' place to be seen in. The attraction is 'minimal' low-level lighting in the shop. When I say minimal, it's sooooooooooooooo dark you need a torch to find your way around & you don't know the colour of the item you've purchased (or the price you've paid!!) until you get outside the shop. You couldn't make up this gimmick for a shop if you tried (although some mad person did!!) and the kids fall for it! Shoot! Showing my age now!!!

I've made this card for my MIL for Easter. It's Toadstool Buggies by Meljens Designs at Whimsy Stamps. I've kept it CAS as it's such a beautiful digi, coloured with Promarkers & glitter & I've cut out some of the pieces out again to give it a bit of dimension & extra flowers to finish it off.

Phew! It's HOT!!!

It certainly is mighty fine weather we're havin' here in ol' Blighty at the mo'. With temperatures expected to hit 26 degrees it's time to expose some flesh & get rid of my ghostly look. I may go as far as to roll up my trouser legs to the knees & slip on a knotted hanky-hat. Should I take off my socks...ooh! I don't know if that's going too far, wouldn't wanna catch a chill if a cloud comes over!!

My card is a fitting image for today (if a little under-dressed!!). This is Little Umbrella from Mo's Digital Pencil, she's released so many brilliant stamps just lately & they keep falling in my basket...how clumsy!! She's wearing a Spring 2011 Promarker bikini with papers from Doodlebug & leaves & flowers made using my Marianne Design Open Flower Trendy die.

Ahoy Me Hearties!

Yes it's safe for me to come out of hiding...REJOICE!!

Today I bring you The Fat Lady from the quill of the Uber-Talented Mo's Digital Pencil.

She's coloured with Promarkers (they've been on an extended vacation to PENnsylvania) with a red gem necklace & Sakura glitter highlights. The lush digi papers & cut out flowers are from Summertime Designs Dreamsicle collection with a squidge of glitter here & there.

Off to soak up some rays...xxx

On the Run!!

To all those lovely peeps who've sent me an email to find out where I am...I am ok but currently on the run from the law. My crime? There's far toooooo many to list but they do involve card, craft-stash & a bin. I will return when the coast is clear...fear not!!

White with a hint of White!!

I'm back!

Have been v. busy this week & have only managed to make 1 card (well 2 actually, the other one's burning at the bottom of the garden...Oh! the shame!!!) Yes...version 1 of this card was one of those that you sit back & look at with yer head in yer hands & wonder what on earth you were thinking!!

I admit I 'lurv' version 2. The stamp is 'Sprout' from Mo's Digital Pencil, coloured with Promarkers & I've used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, X-Cut flower punch, Nellie Snellen oval die & leaf punch. Pink & white pearls & a flitter of glitter to finish.

S'pose to be a corker weather-wise this weekend...ENJOY! xx

Can't Stop.......

Wayyyyyyy too much to do today so I'm gonna cut to the chase....made this card a while back. LOTV stamp coloured with Promarkers, Nestie background shapes, DP from Doodlebug & a couple of flowers from my stash with a card candy centre. Oooh! And some glitter...how could I forget!?

Kids! Don't yer just Luv 'Em!!

These are the awesome cards my fabby kids made for me this Mother's Day. Oliver's Handbag card was tinged with tears as his was made at school & had got squashed on his way home. He was so upset, bless, but we got it fixed & he wrote the most beautiful message inside...(choking-lump-in-throat moment!!)

We were supposed to get up early on Sunday for a football match but at 7.50am I was given strict instructions to remain snuggled up & await breakfast in bed. 40 mins later with an eerie silence from downstairs, no rattling of cups or clinking of plates I called down to see if I should get up. A resounding "NO!!!" was followed by footsteps up the stairs & an order to close my eyes. It turns out that Sophie had fogotten to make me a card & was frantically putting one of her masterpieces together. I don't know where she gets her ideas from...def' not me...it's a concertinaed card with different size folds, each section has its own strip of paper, with a message label joining the two sides together with a bow...Genius!!!

Breakfast? Got up in a mad rush & made mine & everyone elses!!

Merry Christmas Bob!

HA!HA! April Fools...Gotcha didn't I?

And so did the Weather-lady this morning who said it was gonna be a 'fine day' PAH!!!

The skies are Promarker Cool Grey 2, there's a wind strong enough to uncurl your perm' & the temperature perfect for freezing yer ice-pops!!

I made this card for one of my daughter's pals...strict instructions to be pink, with dots n' bunting, so who am I not to deliver. The bunting is a digi from Two Peas in a Bucket, the pink papers are from the Back to Basics collection from Dovecraft & the numbers were cut from the zanniest, glittery sheet I could find. My customary smattering of glitter & job done!

Off to de-bikini & slip into something a bit cosier (a rug maybe...brrr!)...have a groovy weekend.
