Almost forgot...somebody was chosen from my wee bloglet as a Winner from Mo's Digital Pencil Dream Team Blog Hop this month.
Everyone who kindly left a comment along the way was entered into a 'random' draw to win a $5.00 voucher to spend in Mo's Digital shop. There were 2 prizes on offer & one lucky person was chosen from my blogs and that lucky person is......

Congratulations!!!
Gabbi...you should receive an email with details on how to claim your gift...ENJOY!! xx

Fit Bloke Alert!!!

It's official...I've run away with my Virtual Lover ... Strongman from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Thought it best to colour his pants in a permanent ink (Promarker) for fear that if I'd used pencils the colour would wash away in all the rain we've been having and then we'd have a stampede on our hands.
Papers from the Forever Friends Springtime collection, sparkly brown ribbon & American Crafts black foam letters.
See you in about a week when the novelty of his orange-stripe pants wears off (literally...FAINT!!)

This is Paul Typing from Mo's Digital Pencil wearing a casual Promarker ensemble with digi paper from the The Clipart Fairy Sweet Candy paper collection.

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop

Ahoy!
If you've just tripped over the cat & stumbled onto my blog then 'welcome'. Wipe the blood off yer knees & pour yourself a stiff drink.
It's Blog Hop time again for Mo's Dream Team and here is my card. Alice is our host and has 'cruelly' chosen the theme of Easel Cards.  Now...don't laugh...regular viewers of my wee blog will know that I've never attempted anything more daring than a card folded in half without the aid of a safety net!!
I managed to find detailed instructions on how to make an Easel Card but failed miserably to get the right photo-angle...Jeesh! I'm not a gymnast yer know!! I have chosen the enchanting Summer Fairy Finna, coloured with PM's, with DP's, tags & embellies from the Papermania Rose Garden collection.
Now...if you're hopping along with us then you should have arrived here from Kerttu's gorgeous blog, if you've gate-crashed the party and wanna start back at the front door then go to Alice's blog where she'll take your coat. After me it's... Julie who I'm sure will have some groovy 'Bang! Bang!' tunes playing.
***Two lucky peeps will win a $5 voucher to spend in Mo's digi emporium chosen from all the comments on the Hop***

Don't Mess With Maude

It's that time of the year when I make my OH's secretarys birthday card and then go into hiding.
This is the gorgeous Maude Doodlebuns from Just Inklined. Backing paper & embellies are not worthy when she's around so I've kept her CAS.
A sentiment for the day ..."When nothing Goes Right...Turn Left!"...

Hands Off My Baps!

In a bit of a 'Grr' mood today. I don't 'do' moody, not my style, so I'm gonna keep my posting brief & take my 'Grr' out on a stack of ironing!!
I have a pal, over the pond, who's a Cheese-Burger-a-holic and her family is going thru' a sad spell at the moment. Hoping this will put a smile on her face, payback for the laughs she gives me!!
The critter digi was a freebie from Lilyboo, coloured with some cheeseburger Promarkers.

Thank You Teacher

Yep! It's July...my summer frocks, bikini & flip-flops are safely packed away and my rain mac, brolly & wellies are poised at the front door. I shall cease all hair-removal too in order to 'fleece-up' ready for the cold to set in!
My card today was a request ... a Teacher Thank You as term ends this week. This is Between available from Mo's Digital Pencil (old store). DP's from the Tulip paper collection, the puff-ball flower was a random play with scissors and all finished with a smattering of glitter.

Making Dreams Come True

Well...that's what I'm trying to do with my latest venture. I've been 'at it' (gardening...you filthy beasts!) for a few months now and the novelty certainly isn't waning. Oh No...I'm lovin' it and have now set up a blog, Tidy Gardens By Jane, to share my gardening exploits. It's in its infancy and I may well add sections like Top Tips at a later date for anyone to pass on their knowledge & expertise. Hope you'll pay me a wee visit & let me know what you think...off to sharpen my secateurs...

Random Stash Give-Away Winners

I have used the latest technology (my pointy finger) to choose two peeps to share my Random Stash Give-Away.
Brace yourselves....no peeking....it's...

AND
Heather from Digi Sparkle

If you email me (address in profile section) I'll post your goodies off...enjoy!

Random Stash Give-away!

Been having a bit of a clear-out and found some stash to give-away...there's loads of House Mouse decoupage and a few stamps (all new!). There's enough for 2 peeps...so if you're interested, leave a comment & I'll pick 2 'random' folk to send it to. You don't have to be a follower (although that would be nice...) BUT you do have to be 'Random'!!

This post will remain 'sticky' until the 15th (ish') of July 2011...

The Cat's Whiskers

It's Friday...Woop! Flamin' Woop!
Can't believe how quick this weeks flown by and what do I have to look forward to? Well, my son's football club is having its annual Summer BBQ and the weatherman has promised torrential rain all day...thanks a bunch!!!
A few more hours left to enter my 'Random Stash Give-away' if you're interested.
My card today is one of those that was hard to let go of. The papers are from the First Edition 'Up & Away' collection and were meant to be just for 'stroking'...not chopping up to make cards!! The digi was from a freebie set by Papercraft Essentials called Fat Cat Fred, coloured with Promarkers. A wee tear was shed as this one left my grubby mitts!

Winter in July

Brrrr!  I have spent today chisling away, with a selection of mountaineering equipment, in an attempt to defrost the freezer.
Armed with a variety of bowls, a steaming kettle and a sledge-hammer I have managed to recreate a winters scene in the garden and flood the garage in the process. It's amazing what you'll find in my freezer, amongst the stray peas and mediterranean spuds, I came upon 'The 'Hand' and a 5 year old bag of grass-clippings from the hallowed turf of Chelsea Football club from the days of 'The Special One' (Jose Mourinho).
Looking for an explanation...you've come to the wrong place...we're weird like that!!
No card today...need to thaw out!

Young Love

Just before I wrote this post I was confronted by a spider as big as a sofa (no exageration!)...just typical they appear when I'm home alone and the cat's too sleepy to help! Was gonna dig out my new Super-Suck Vacuum but feared he'd have done a runner before I'd put it together. Have used the ol' Cup n' Card option and sweatily removed the critter to his new home....Australia!!!
Last weekend we were all invited to a Garden Party at my BIL & SIL's house (actually garden, otherwise it would have been a House Party...I digress...). It was a lovely afternoon with my BIL and his band entertaining us with banjo's, guitars and mandolin music and as a Thank You I have made them a card...it's the least I can do after Oliver ate nearly all the cocktail sausages & Neil almost all the cakes!!
This is Young Love from Mo's Digital Pencil (old shop), coloured with PM's. with Bazzill & Doodlebug DP's & punched out leaves & flowers.

A quick 'In' and 'Out' from me today...this is Lewis from the Prairie Fairy wearing a rather attractive paper-peiced designer shirt from the Making Memories Simply Fabulous Meg collection. Handcut letters and a smattering of glitter...right...off again...later!

Money Can't Buy You Love...Or Can It...?

Some say 'Money Can't Buy You Love'...but I'm not so sure.
I have found Love, albeit in the shape of a new Cat n' Dog Vacuum Cleaner...but...Love it is!!
Yes, Love is...a Vacuum Cleaner that sucks the guts out of the bugs that have eaten the bugs that live in the bugs that live in my carpet (you get the picture!) It has enough accessories to open my own Vacuum Accessory shop and 'heads' for reaching the 'nookiest' of 'crannies'...our cat has never looked so clean...
BEFORE
AFTER

Moving on... my card is for a lady celebrating her 80th Birthday. Digi was a freebie a while back from Pollycraft, coloured with PM's, the digi papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the swirls and flowers (mounted on card) are Anita's peel-offs (I know sinned again...twice in 1 week) with pink pearl centres.

Summer Snuffles

A confession...my family alone is responsible for the depletion of the forests of the world by the amount of tissue paper that we get through. If it's not the never ending stream of colds that seem to persue the kids, then it's hayfever. I am trying to address this issue by buying the family clothes that are 10 sizes too large with long sleeves. This way the sleeves can be used to wipe noses on & then simply snipped off when drenched.
My card celebrates all things 'snotty' and is the cutest digi 'Needs Mummy' from the quill of Mo's Digital Pencil. Coloured with Promarkers with all DP's from the 'Dryer Lint at Tiffany's' collection from Summertime Designs. I have sinned (again) with the use of peel-offs but you know what...I'm a rebel!!
Off to plant a tree...keep it groovy everyone!

Gotta 'get on down' to some serious card making today so flying in with this quickie...
This is Spider Henry who was a freebie way back from WOJ. The papers and all leafy embellies were made using the gorgeous free Dance With Me digi papers from the very talented and generous Summer Driggs of Summertime Designs.
