Beach Babe

OK! Whoever's kidnapped summer, we're prepared to meet your demands!
My card is as sunny as it gets here in the UK where Autumn, who's been banging on the door for weeks, has now finally broken the door down! Almost had to put the heating on last night, it was soooo cold, but I couldn't get close enough to the rottweiler-guarded, heavilly padlocked heating switch that my OH has installed.
My card today is for my pal Leanne - Happy Birthday mate!!
It's To the Beach from Mo's Digital Pencil. Coloured with PM's, papers from the First Edition Hideaway collection & foamy flowers from the Flower Factory with orange glass gem centres.

"Hoot-a-Nancy" ... get it?

Morning my fellow Soggy Bloggeroonies!
As a non-qualified Weather-Woman with a rather large crystal ball I predict great changes in the weather...ooohhh (eerie sounds)...as I rub my ball I see sunshine, hot days and ...wait for it ... long, warm, balmy Autumn evenings. This will all happen in EXACTLY one weeks time when ...wait ... rubbing ball a little harder...wait...yes I can see...when the Kids go back to flamin' school!!!!!!!!
My card today was a request for a lady called Nancy about to celebrate her 90th Birthday who 'lurvs' owls.
This owl was a freebie from Making Our Mark, coloured with Promarkers, with glazed glasses and a guilded-flaked belly. The DP's are from the Basic Grey Indian Summer collection, a random flower from my stash with a brad centre & gorgeous black leafy peel-offs & amber gems to finish.

Mis-informed!

So...yesterday was spent under the stairs cowering from the torrential rain and thunder storms that were brewing in the south & working their way up to my neck of the woods. Couldn't do any colouring as all electrical appliances had been disconnected to protect them from the impending doom forecast.  I sat there for 8 hours in the dark with a jam-butty & a glass of milk you know ... and for what ...?
DRIZZLE...YES!! FLAMIN' DRIZZLE!!
Sending this card to the Weather-Peeps as an appreciation of thier 'trusty' predictions...NOT!
The paper on my card today was from a freebie set off Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine (issue 87) by Craftwork Cards called Botanicals. Mounted onto Bazzil black card, with a K&Co 'Smitten' butterfly & rub-on sentiment from Kaisercrafts.

Slurp!

It's a grey ol' day out today...thunderstorms (EEK!) and torrential rain are forecast so I'm gonna slip in a quick card before I disconnect the electricity supply & take cover under the stairs.
This vision of loveliness is Me (ahem!) Little Umbrella from Mo's Digital Pencil. Coloured with Promarkers (as if you hadn't guessed), DP is a random 12x12 Basic Grey sheet that I had but I don't know the name sorry...punched & foamy flowers from The Flower Factory with punched paper centres & orange, glassy gems, letters by Doodlebug.
See yer when the storms pass...

Bedazzled!

I really should be tucked up snuggly in bed ... in my alluring, long-sleeved, full-length Winceyette nightie.
But before all that I thought I'd better chuck in a card I recently made.
This was for a friends mum (you'd never guess!), with a 'pretty card' request.
Out came my gorgeous alcohol inks again in Raspberry, Watermelon & Silver and creatively 'splodged'. The stamp is 'Flying Stars' by Penny Black embellished with pearly gems.
Now, can't stop any longer, I have Z'eds to catch up on...Night! Night!

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop - Lace & Pearls

It's the Dream Team Blog Hop for Mo's Digital Pencil.
Our Hostess this month, serving cheese & pineapple on cocktail sticks at the door, is Debbie and she has chosen the theme of Lace and Pearls.
If you're following our Hop then you should have arrived here from the lovely Kerttu's blog...if you're lost & want to start again, pop back to Debbie's.
This is Fairy Tabia, the first digi I ever bought from Mo almost 2 years ago & still as beautiful to use as ever. I've coloured her with Promarkers & oodles of glitter & given her a lacy dress. She's blowing pearly bubbles & is mounted on some gorgeous freebie papers by Kate Knight that came with this months Cardmaking & Papercraft mag. The flower embellies were cut out from the same set & curled at the edges with glitter highlights.
Next stop on the Hop is the amazing Julie.

2 lucky peeps will win a spot prize each, so leave some love along the way for your chance to win!!

Busting!

When you've gotta go...you've gotta go!
Isn't it funny how Potty Training is a time of celebration each time your 'nipper' uses the potty. Yes! Hang out the bunting, shriek with delight. Fast forward a few years & how many times do you hear parents moaning at their kids in the shops when they ask to go to toilet!!
This is On the Pot Boy C part of a range of kiddies 'using the potty' from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Coloured with Promarkers, the DP is from the Forever Freinds Springtime collection, hand-drawn bunting and glittery, swirly peel-off border to finish.

Good Luck at Your New School

It's the Summer School holidays here in the UK. I use the word 'summer' loosely & hope no one will try n' sue me for mis-selling a fluffy, warm image of Britain bathed in glorious sunshine. If you're into cold northerly winds, flooding & dark clouds in August then Blighty is the destination of choice!!
My son has just finished at Primary school & is about to move onto Secondary school in a few weeks time. I thought this image Best-Best-Best Friends Forever from Mo's Digital Pencil (old shop) was perfect for making Good Luck cards & personalising it by colouring it in the new school uniform colours (with Promarkers...of course!) The embellies were made using images in Word.

Did You Miss Me?

Did you even notice I'd gone?
Yes...my holiday in Costa-Del-Minehead is over & I have returned with a heavy heart. The temptation to stay & change the locks on our holiday bungalow so the owners coudn't have it back was strong. What a beautiful part of the country...sob!
What I did miss though was you gorgeous lot, my crafty-stash & the computer.
Twas my OH's birthday on the day of our return & this was one of the cards I made for him. Four squares of Watermelon & Silver alcohol-inked card with letters from Papermania.
Loads to catch up on & Promarkers to stroke...
