Alcohol Ink Addict

Welcome back... I hope you're enjoying my new Alcohol ink addiction as much as me.
I warned Mr C that if I suddenly died, an autopsy would probably reveal excess alcohol levels in my blood and he was to blame Tim Holtz and not the local off-licence.

So here's another of my ink dripping n' puffing cards. I will try some new techniques soon but for now I'm loving the results of this simple method.
As with all of my other AI posts, I drip 1 drop of ink at a time and puff the fluid about using a TH air spritzer. On this card I used the lighter weight Yupo paper and mounted onto some spare white card for ridigity.

Next step, in order to create dotted areas, carefully add teensy drips of blending solution and blot with a Q-tip / ear cleaner.

Using a leafy die from Cheery Lynn, I ran my dried inky card thru' my Cuttlebug and also die-cut a leaf from a scrap of white Funky Foam. It was at this stage that I got in a right ol' mess using spray adhesive to glue it all together so next time I'll use regular glue. Quite simply stick the Fun Foam die-cut into the space on the card, stick your coloured die-cut back on top of that.

Once I'd stuck the whole thing onto my card base, I added a sentiment from MFT, a few silver, glittery sticky dots and some random black dotty areas with a Sharpie pen.
