Morning Everyone! What a weekend...Saturday was spent trapsing up & down Oxford & Regents Street as Sophie wanted to experience shopping in London...NEVER AGAIN!!! What a disappointment...obviously unless you're a Gazzilionaire most of the shops are way out of reach & if you do go in you get "The" look.
Then there's the department stores where the first bit you walk through is the "Beautiful People" section of Perfume & Make-up. You need an inhaler to fight thru' the fog of scents and a tissue to dry your eyes from the hurt that you feel from that other "look" that says " don't bother stopping here...no end of foundation or lipstick can help you girlfriend!" I'm wondering if I'm getting old too...so much BANG!BANG!BANG! music, mad lighting & clothing that resembles something you'd keep your clothes-pegs or wash your smalls in...SIGH!
Sunday was a happier day, despite my back & feet ache, when Oliver played footie & scored an amazing goal from about a mile away by chipping the ball over everyone's heads!! (I know it's a "slight" exageration but that's a Mother's perogative!!).
So I've rambled too much about my weekend...onto my card which is a decoupaged Bella & Bronte Skating digi from Mo's Digital Pencil coloured with ProMarkers & stickles with coloured peel-off trees.

Ooh what a busy weekend you had Jane :) Fantastic card with great decoupaging & the colouring/shading is fab!
My sewing machine was cheapish online (bout £79 I think) but it does do a few different stitches :D I really want to do more actual sewing (on material not just card lol) but not enough time :( (bl**dy work).
Have a great week chick.

Oh I feel your pain Sister, been there, down Oxford Street. Eeeuuueew. What s goal though, watch out Becks. As for the card, made me smile. No mean feet with a tantrum prone toddler. What day is it today?!

I know exactly what you mean and have got 'the look' many times myself Jane....ooooohhhhhh and those perfume/make up places are torture, Im allergic to perfume its gives me horrendous migrains, so I have to almost run through with my hand over my mouth and nose...Debenhams is terrible for that...I usually get told of in the shops by my Daughter for singing to the 'bang bang' lol...love the card, I love the way you keep white as your focal colour its makes your stunning colouring really pop off the page
