As a woman who has spent the past week on her hands n' knees hoicking out dandelions & other weeds, I beg you...DON'T blow dandelion seed heads.
Yes! I know the image above conjures up a sweet childhood fantasy of lazy, happy days, frolicking gaily in meadows of sweet buttercups & poppys, laughing & giggling with Gary Barlow singing 'Here Comes the Sun' at the campfire.
Hold on while I scratch the needle across the record and put an end to your daydreaming!!
Dandelions have roots to Australia (unless of course you're in Australia, then that have roots down to the UK!) You'll also wet the bed if you pick one (so I was told as a child).
Kids...DON'T blow the seed heads...get a BLOW TORCH and burn the B*****S!

I'm guilty...I did it...I blew..I'm so sorry, will never do it again, cause those little devils are here in NZ as well, thousands of them, in my lawn in my gardens, in the cracks, they never cease to stop growing..but they look gorgeous on your card..gorgeous image and colouring,love her shiney hair and the sparkle.

I was always told the came from the UK. I wonder how they ever got here. They are a frustrating weed but my kids spent so many times picking those little weeds. Makes me smile thinking about it. This is great.

Ouch! OOoch! Blow, poof! There, done it, pulled them all up out of my garden, cut all the heads off and posted them to you in a mahoosive box at the post office! Should be there round about tomorrow - cause I know how much you love the little blighters!
