Ahoy Me Hearties!
At last all the UK water companies have realised that after 3 months of almost continuous rain, we are no longer experiencing a drought and have lifted the hosepipe ban. I think the waist-high water levels in peoples homes, roads that are now fast flowing rapids and the mass exodus of folk to the airports seeking warmer weather was the giveaway.
My banned hosepipe shall stayed locked away though as the weather here in ol' Blighty, in the the dizzy depths of summer, is apparantly NOT set to improve in the foreseeable future.

Cheers to you Jane - now that looks like one delicious pint! I told you I come round peeking a lot. We have had a lot of rain too. Keep those great creations coming - looks like I am going to be out of commission for a while. I broke my left hip and the doctor says it will take 3 months to be well. So I plan to snoop as much as I can!!! Love your blog Jane!!
