Happy Valentine's Day you romantic lot.
My day started with the soft nuzzle of a wet nose, a spot of ear nibbling and a thorough leg licking.
Alas it was neither Mr C nor the Milktray Man...just a daft, excitable hound with her usual morning greeting.
Anyway I'm glad to see you all and thankful that my latest obsesson with Alcohol Inks hasn't frightened you off.
I've used the same technique (if you can call it a technique) as before where I simply drip 1 drop of ink at a time and move the colours around using a TH air spritzer on Yupo. Remember, you can do this with a straw or if you're dead-posh, canned air.
I then flick blending solution to create speckled areas. Sometimes I find I have to blot the blending solution with kitchen-towel to reveal the speckled area, however on this creation the 'magic' just happened.
I die-cut 3 leaves from the dried paper using Clearly Besotted's 'Autumn Flowers' & a 'thanks' sentiment from WPlus9
Aren't the blending solution effects stuuning? Like droplets of rain water.
Just sitting here watching the inks and blending solution move is so satisfying.
The leaves left & right & the sentiment were glued onto my card base and the centre leaf fixed with foam pads. Some strategically placed sequins and a few silver Sharpie dots to finish.
Return next time at your peril...it's gonna be more of the same...I can't help myself!

For a clean and simple card Jane..it is exquisite. The colours on those leaves and the rain drops are just gorgeous with your perfectly placed sequins..and not a smudge of glue anywhere..PERFECT.
