This cheeky monkey is from Doodle Dragon, coloured with Promarkers, mounted with foam pads on to papers from the Basic Grey Olivia collection, with handcut, glazed letters & a smidge of glitter!

Today I bring you Joy, Happiness, Sunshine & a Big Fat Squeeze! Yes...I know they're only words but embrace them! The sun's only just gone & popped its head out of the murk that is the January skies and I feel a skip in my step & a song coming on..."BARMAN! Poor me another!!"

It's friday - Woop! Woop! and my card today is made using my favouritist Sassy Cheryl digi. I've used my beloved Promarkers, the scalloped circle has been cut from Doodlebug Tuttu Fruitti paper as have the weeny punched flowers. They've all got pearl centres, the letters are from basic grey that I've glazed.

My BIL is either gonna see the funny side of the likeness of this card to himself or KILL me! So until he's received this I am officially in hiding!

The stamp is Scrooge from Mo's Digital Pencil in his jim-jams, which strangely I find rather attractive compared to some of the bedtime attire out there...I think this should make a come-back!!

It's been coloured in a variety of brown ProMarkers with a spot of glitter. The DP is from the Basic Grey Cappella collection & the swirly bit is Felt Fusion from Queen & Co.

Twas my beautiful boy's birthday last week & this is another card I made for him. I couldn't believe when I came upon this gorgeous stamp, Football Boy, from Lilyboo how much it looked like him...quite spooky. Coloured with ProMarkers, mounted with foam pads, Basic Grey paper, the letters are from Doodlebug & the football boots are buttons.

Straight in with my card...no idle rambling today. I have tissues wedged up my nostrils trying to stem the flow of snuffles that I've woken up with.  

Today I bring you another girly card using the gorgeous Fairy Tabia digi from the quill of  Mo's Digital Pencil. Coloured with ProMarkers (as if you hadn't guessed!), the papers are Cupcake Stripe & Berry Pink from Doodlebug, pink gem swirls, silver glitter glue highlights & glazed Basic Grey letters.

World Gawn Mad...AGAIN!!

Is it me or has the whole world gawn stark-raving mad. Everyday something happens or someone says something & I start to doubt my own sanity...maybe I'm the one that's mad...(don't answer that!)

On Friday I asked my OH to get off the train from work one stop further than his ticket allowed in order to meet up & go for a meal. He's been very busy of late & deserved a treat (from my awful catering skills!!). As he is an annual season ticket holder he is entitled to a discount off any further train tickets he should buy, however, in order to get this discount he needs to deal with a Human & NOT a Machine as they lack the skills required to calculate such a tricky sum. With this in mind & the lack of a Human at the start of his journey he approached the Ticket-Man at the end of his journey to pay the extra. He was then taken aside & told he'd have to pay a £20 fine for not paying earlier & the cost of the ticket or get back on a train & return to his normal station. Needless to say I had to drive back to his usual stop & pick him up...my plan to de-stress him for the weekend ruined...more DISTRESSED!! RAH!!!

Thank goodness for card-making to relieve my angst. This is one of my new LOTV stamps. coloured with ProMarkers, the papers are from Doodlebug, punched flowers with pearly centres & a glitzy, squirt of glitter to finish.

BBQ Season!

Yep! The BBQ Season will soon be upon us...you'll know when, your nice, fresh, clean, washing will be flapping in the gentle breeze, the meat you put in the fridge to defrost will go missing & "that" special set of shiny tools will glisten at the bottom of the garden blinding you as you leg it outside to save your laundry from smoke damage!!!

Monday "Pinks"

Morning Everybody...hope you all had a groovy weekend. The Sun actually came out yesterday, so my OH decided we should all be virtuous & go for a family walk. Alas the Public Footpath he had in mind had a Developers fence around it with the friendly "Keep Out or We'll set the Dogs on You" type of notice on it. After 30 mins failing to find another route our only option was to go to the pub!

Thank you to all the lurverlee peeps who helped me out with my Dancing Digi plea...Sorted!!

Ahh! This would be my worst nightmare (well one of them anyway!) Unless of course it was purely for Crafty Stash then this would be my idea of heaven. Yep! Shopping does not rate on my "Lurve" radar...the thought of traipsing around in the sales fills me with dread! How some folk can queue for hours, sometimes over night, to buy a dinner-set...well...I just don't get it.

Yo Dudes!

After my Retirement Announcement yesterday I sat back & considered my future employment situation & what I could do. And after a matter of "seconds" I realised that I'd better stick to making cards!!

I had planned on becoming a Domestic Goddess this year as a New Years Resolution, but my ever-lovin' family just gave me "that" look...you know the one...reminded me about my Xmas Cake disasters (yes Disasters-plural...I'll explain in a mo') and my mind was made up. So I'm back...sorry!

Yep...I had a second Xmas cake disaster...for my regular "subjects" you may remember my Xmas cake saga before Christmas. One cake ended up as bird food (death sentence!) & the other was just about edible (No family members were harmed in the eating of my cake). However, as Xmas passed & New Year approached I noticed that the icing was starting to sag, like a pair of saggy knicks, but worse...the colour had changed from a snowy white to a browny colour (please don't go there...I know what you're thinking...filthy beasts!!). I didn't dare chuck it out to the birds, so put it the bin...but my bin-man is now wearing a back-brace since dragging away our trash last week!

My card today is for a young man celebrating his 11th Birthday & what better digi to use than Simon from Mo's Digital Pencil. I just love the laid-back style...perfect for this age group. The DP is from the Retro Stack from DCWV & the lettering is from Basic Grey.

This little gem was made by my dear, darling, little buggers, children for their Grandpa's Birthday.

He loves rugby so they made rugby posts & stuck George from Charmed Cards and Crafts in between, cut out a grassy surround, stuck blue paper on the inside with clouds & a sun & then "borrowed" a picture of a stadium from Google & stuck it on the inside too! How darned clever are they!!! (WAH!!!)

Thankfully...no ProMarkers were hurt in the making of this masterpeice!!

Is it really 2011?

Yes! My loyal subjects bloggeroonies...I'm back. My Surrogate Mother Marlene (AKA Naggy McNag) gave me a "gentle" reminder to start posting again so...Voila!

So how was your Xmas & New Year? My OH & fav' Daughter (I only have 1 daughter before the "Anti-Favouritism Police start banging on my door!!) had the flu right over the festive season so they had a pretty miserable time & I wasn't able to slip on my Mrs Santa outfit as I was playing "Nursey"...it's like a Pantomime in our house with the constant changes in costumes!! (Oh No it isn't! Oh Yes it is!!)

Let's hope 2011 is a tad  lot cheerier & healthier for everyone!!

My card today was a request for a "young" lady who's gonna be 92! The gorgeous stamp is "Clover Butterfly Wishes" from Pollycraft , decoupaged & coloured with ProMarkers, The DP is from my stash (not sure if it's K&Co or DCWV (DOH!), the name & age were handcut & it's all been finished with gems & outlined with glitter.
