Oh The Memories.....

I've been asked to make a few wedding cards and here's the first one.
It reminded me of my wedding day... memories of practising my walk up the aisle (in my mum & dads hallway) with my Maid of Honour. At the church the walk to the alter was L-Shaped. The plan was to STOP at the turn & allow my MOH to rearrange my long dress (Yes! Kids...I have worn a frock before!!) in preparation for my elegant approach to much beloved who stood up the front (probably wondering what sort of lunatic he was marrying)
In all the excitment I forgot to stop, MOH bent down to fluff my rear, stood on the end of my dress and I carried on walking. I was lucky the dress wasn't ripped off me as I strode forward & the frock didn't!
The day had just begun, there was more to follow.....

Promarkers, silver glitter, mirrored hearts.

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop

Woah there Horsey!
Where is this year going...time is just flying by!?
It's Blog Hop time again for the Dream Team of Mo's Digital Pencil and this month Heidy is our hostess with her chosen theme of SHAKER CARDS.

I think most of us had never made a Shaker card before and if any of the others joined me in confession, they would own up to a few mistakes in the making of our cards with quite a lot of the 'shakings' ending up on the floor!
So here's mine, I've used Sophie, coloured with Promarkers (what else!) to create a CAS card. The flowers were cut from some lush Doodlebug paper, the centres punched out with an X-cut retro flower punch, foam pads added around the cut out and yellow glittery dust added to form the 'pollen' shaker part. The punched out flower were then used at the bottom of the card with white card-candy centres added.
I hope you'll join with our hop this month & check out the other 'Shaking' creations that the team have put together, as always there are $5 vouchers up for grabs for 2 lucky peeps who leave comments along the hop to spend in Mo's Digital emporium.
If you're already on the hop then you should have arrived here from the lovely Gretha's blog, after me, head on over to Julie's fabulous blog for some more inspiration. If you'd like to start at the beginning, then Heidy's amazing blog is the place to be.
Have a groovy hop everyone!
