I have a New Toy!!! Can you guess what it is yet? YAY!!!!!!!!!! A Cuttlebug!!!!!!!!!!!!
And even more impressive is the fact that I haven't managed to break IT or my fingers YET!
As you can tell I ownly possess one folder at the moment but a wee shopping trip beckons. However, huge... nay... uncontrollable excitement abounds!!!
I've used the Victoria folder on both cards. The first has a mini decoupage scene of shoes from Craft UK, I've "Bugged" the punched out flowers & added flowery, pink gems. Peelies

My very first opportunity ever, ever, ever to be  a GDT is today over at Crafty Card Makers.
The challenge is Desert Island - Imagine you are on a Desert Island for at least 6 months, what crafty essentials would you "need" to have with you? What would you never tire of or get bored with if these were the only things you had? You need to make your ENTIRE creation using only the items you have on your island, items you really couldn't do without. Well...assuming NO electricity on the desert island to plug in my beloved computer & most of my suitcase is taken up with other essentials...wine, wine glass, cork screw...I've taken just a few small crafting goodies just in case I'm rescued. Always be prepared with a card!

My passions this week would be Black Peel-Offs, embossing on a lightbox (of course I'd use the light of the sun) & Gems. Hope you like!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone! Ner...Ner... Ner Ner...Ner! Beat ya all!! Yes I know it's still April but you've gotta be prepared.
I thought I was being very clever, nay artistic, putting this card into a Yukka plant to take the photo. However, several lacerations & a trip to Casualty (ER for my American chums) later may have left slight blood blemishes...let's hope no one notices.
I've made this card for two challenges. Passion For ProMarkers want you to create your background using your beloved ProMarkers. I coloured some scrap card with different shades of blue - Cyan, Sky Blue, Duck Egg & Royal Blue, then punched out some mini snow flakes et Voila! The second challenge is over at Sassy Cheryls  (I confess M' Lord, I am a Stalker!) where you need to use a boy image & use the colour combo of blue & cream. I hope this gorgeous snowman / boy will count. He too has been coloured with a variety of blue tone PMs & ivory, oh! and bright orange carroty nose with glitter highlights.

Chuffed!

Forgive my smugness but I'm so chuffed with this card (How sad!!). Everyone seems to be putting beautiful flowers on their cards that look like they cost an arm n' a leg!! Not wishing to part with any limbs I trawled YouTube & found a fab vid' with step-by-step instructions.
I used  a Flower Doodle stamp from Papermania in two different sizes stamped onto paper from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. Cut them out & curled the petals with scissors & used an embossing tool to centre them. I've glazed the inner petals & added pink pearls from Prima. Yes! I know you've all been doing this for years but I am...slowly...catching up! (Is it true The Beatles have split!!) Foliage made from my Nellie Snellen punch, cute Codi image was a freebie from Pollycraft Designs a few weeks ago when they had a DT call - coloured with a variety of browns, pinks, creams & green. Her hat trim & shoes have been glazed & green gems for her bracelet. Entering it at -
