Tiz Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
A day for love & romance.
A day for roses, heart-shaped chocolates & a candle-lit dinner.
Personally I’m hoping to have a serious card-making session & an early night.
What ever you’re up to, enjoy!

Punching n’ Die-ing

A (15) - Copy

Greetings peeps.
The weekend’s here…Yay!

Here’s a card made up entirely of die-cutting & punching (no one was harmed in the making of this card)….oh….and a wee stamped sentiment.

So not ENTIRELY made up of die-cutting & punching, but you get the picture.

Fav’ daughter has finally confirmed her university choice for September this year, so this weekend I will be starting a string of training sessions on ‘How to Survive Living Away from Your Parental Slaves’ (Catchy title Huh!)

Lesson 1 will be an introduction to furniture polish & that yellow rag we call ‘Duster’.
Have a great weekend all.

Letters & Fence dies – Memory Box
Grass & Sentiment – Clearly Besotted
Butterflies – Ancient X-Cut punch

Brushos By The Sea

Fav’ daughter & I have decided that we should try & get fit. There’s nothing of said daughter, she’s like her dad….a skinny bean. I, however, lack the ‘skinny gene’ so I’m hoping to get fit & shed a few ‘ounces’ (ahem!) too.
In the interest of dignity we agreed that night-time fast walking / jogging would be more appropriate. We have invested in lycra jogging attire that on a ‘skinny bean’ looks fab, on a ‘skinny gene’ lacking, middle-aged woman it looks less flattering….so dead-of-night jogging it is.
Last night, in sub-zero temperatures, we ventured out….looking more like Walkers from The Walking Dead than getting-fit walkers….but we‘ve made a start.
Here’s hoping the scales like my efforts.

Meanwhile, here’s a card to warm your cockles.
This is a Michael Powell stamp, coloured with Brusho paints.
