Mother's Day Card

This is the card that I made for my MIL this year using an oldie but goodie stamp from Flourishes called 'Cherry Blossom'.

I stamped the image & coloured it with Zig Markers and added shimmery highlights with a Wink of Stella pen.

Using the Altenew Bold Alphabet die, I cut out the letters 'MUM' then stuck the remainder to my card base. I then cut the letters out again from a scrap of white 3d foam, stuck those letters back in the empty spaces then the original letters on top of them, to give it that 3d look....am I making any sense here??

A few sequins and Tada!
Job done.
An elegant, pink, feminine card...just like me...Not!

Thank Yee Kindly

An uber quick post from me today.....'thank heavens' I hear you say.
I made this card for one of our neighbours as a 'thank you' for some punnets of strawberries that he shared with us.
Everybody needs good neighbours.

Love Is In the Air

A (41) - Copy
Tiz Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
A day for love & romance.
A day for roses, heart-shaped chocolates & a candle-lit dinner.
Personally I’m hoping to have a serious card-making session & an early night.
What ever you’re up to, enjoy!

AWOL

JC Blog (3)

Yo Peeps!

Zero time to make cards at the mo’ - these were made last summer.
I’m concentrating more on my gardening work & gardening blog nowadays (Tidy Gardens by Jane) so new cards to post will be rare.
These were made using Flourishes stamps that were bought for me by much beloved Christmas 2012 (yes…I know, 2012!!)
Anyway, I hope to be back once in a while.

Phwoar…What a Whopper!

DSCF0057
Only last weekend the Doc (AKA Doctor Digi’s House of Stamps) caught me hanging out my smalls on Wash Day, this week he found me at work, gardening with my Green Fingers & Thumbs.
The Doc’ claims it’s Deirdery with her whopper of a prize marrow but if any of my Tidy Garden clients see this card they’ll see the similarities are uncanny….lol.

‘Cherrio!'

DSCF0019
I jest, I’m not going anywhere…just desperate to find a cherry gag…I know, failed miserably.
As well as spoiling me rotten at Christmas with a graphics tablet, Mr C (you gotta love that guy) also bought me some gorgeous fruity stamp sets from Flourishes. This juicy bunch of cherries is from the nattily named Cherries & Peaches set, coloured with Promarkers & glazed. Can’t wait to get back in the garden…I’m going stir-crazy.

Feeling Fruity

Morning Fruitcakes!
If you're suffering from Christmas card overload then your visit here today is quite safe.
Not a snowflake, snowman or snowy scene to be found.
No snow...Nowt! Nothing! Nada!
So here you go...raspberries! I fell in love with Flourishes Stamps after being inspired week in & week out by the amazing Dawn over at My Stamping Thyme and now I've found them on sale in the UK I'm so excited to have finally got my hands on a set (or 2...ahem!)
After wrongly accusing my printer of gross misconduct earlier in the week I was forced to buy flowers, a fruit basket and make a card by way of an apology, so this card is perfect (although it should read 'Life without my beloved Printer is like a Life without Card Stash')...it seems printers do hold grudges!
