'Ol Flossie Bumblethorpe from Just Inklined makes yet another appearance today. She's proving a very popular / cruel request on cards for friends & family...I wouldn't dare...or would I? HMMM!!!!

I've dottily coloured her with a variety of orange PM's, I've used Sunset Orange & Sunshine Yellow alcohol inks with silver mixative to make the background & punched flowers with orange stickles centres.

The mushroom digi is from Digisparkle coloured with PM's with glittery highlights & the background embellies are punched flowers, leaves & butterflies run thru' the 'ol Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.

You find me today incredibly high on Day Nurse (other medications for colds are available!), my arms feel like lead & I can't think straight...so I shall spend the day thinking wonky!

The awesome digi on this card is from Digi Doodle which was given away as a freebie to use on a special challenge that I've just realised has finished already...DOH!!

Coloured with PM's with orange glitter-glue highlights, I've cut it out, decoupaged the acorns & mounted it with foam pads on to a background of die-cuts made from Basic Greys Indian Summer collection using my Nellie Snellen oval frame dies from Scrap Revolution. The little embellishments were a prize that I won.

Ok! No New Home mush today, Judie gave me a right 'ol slap & I'm back to normal!!!

This is another fab digi from Two Peas in a Bucket called Home Sweet Home that I've coloured with PMs, cut out & mounted with foam pads. I did add stickles but it doesn't show in this snap.

I love making New Home cards...there's something about starting afresh, new beginnings...oh my goodness...I've come over all mushy...slap me someone!!!!!!!!!!!!

This card has one of the gorgeous digi's called Seasonal House on a Hill from Squigglefly & it's for a family moving into their New Home. Coloured with ProMarkers with punched leaves & flowers from Lime Bazzill card with green gem centres, highlighted with a clear, glitter Sakura pen.

4 Seasons

Alas this card doesn't really represent the 4 seasons here in the UK...the one in the bottom right-hand corner is a true representation of how it really is!!!

Have had several New Home card orders this week & this is my first using a set of digi's called Seasonal House on a Hill from Squigglefly.  I've printed & mounted them in miniature versions coloured with PM's with stickles & gem embellishments. The DP is from Doodlebug.

So I'm back with a slightly new look bloggeroony today...my old background went doo-lally, so I've got myself a shiney new one & jigged about my widgets (ooh! er!)

Alas this is not an edible card (although wouldn't that be the ultimate card...hmm!), it's card candy. I got the idea for this card from the very talented Julie but hers was far more feminine, subtle & too darn perfect (card -envy? Me? Never!). Made the flowers with pink pearlescent paper using a Bazzill chipboard one as a template. Scrummy card candy & a rub-on sentiment.

Baby Girl

Ahoola all!! I was going take this card into the garden to have its photo taken but soon felt the hammered-in nails that I would need to keep the card from blowing down the road and rain streaks wouldn't have been a good look! This is baby Emily from Prairie Fairy with a Doodlebug Sweetheart Babys Breath paper-pieced outfit, coloured with PM's with glazed glasses. I've added white & pink card candy around the edge & coloured a glittery number peel-off .

Tiz a sad day over at Donna's Den of Crafts  as Donna has decided to close both the Challenge Blog and her shop. There is a closing down sale with 30% off everything so you may want to grab yourself a bargain...link to the shop is here. Our final challenge has been cancelled but it was going to be Fancy Folds...here's what I made.

I decided to have fancy folds on my card with concertinaed flowers made with the help of this tutorial at You Tube by a lady called Elizabeth Boyle. I used Doodlebug papers - Strawberry Blossoms & Tutti Fruitti-for the flowers with yellow button centres & the "foliage" is Felt Fusion from Queen & Co.

I've made this card for my BIL Ray as a Thank You for taking Oliver fishing last week. They were away all day & caught 9 fish between them...not big enough for tea though!

This is a simple peel-off (I use the word "simple" loosely as I got in a right 'ol tangle trying to get all the bits to lie flat...GRRR!!). It's mounted onto a piece of paper from the Basic Grey Indian Summer collection & the sentiemnt is a rub-on from Kaisercraft that I got from Scrap Revolution.

Nearly had a major craft-stash sale today as my Mojo had not only left me but I think had left the planet!! This card, wish I'm now rather pleased with, must have taken me 6 hours to make. In the end I have followed a sketch (way outta my comfort zone) at LOTV . The blue is Bazzill card, the patterned blue is Edwardian cardstock from Kanban, the cute stamp is from LOTV coloured with ProMarkers, I've used my new inverted scalloped nestie & added buttons, pearls & a bow embellie.
