I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who joined in with our special Blog Hop last month which aimed to raise funds to help the family of fellow crafter Katie who was suffering from inoperable cancer.
Sadly Katie passed away yesterday with her family beside her.

I actually cried yesterday. Such a beautiful, strong woman. She touched and inspired so many of us.
I was so saddened to hear of Katie's death and have to admit it has really affected me these last couple of days.
This time last year I became friends with Katie and it was at the start of me becoming deeply depressed. In the midst of everything she was going through she had such nice words of encouragement for me and we sent messages to one another on Facebook for a few months.
It's hard knowing she is not going to get better like I am doing. She was too young to go and had lots to live for. Life can be so cruel :(
